With over 15 years of teaching experience under my belt, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the field of education. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and a Master's degree in Reading, I am a certified teacher with expertise in language arts, reading, ESE, and ESOL. My commitment to student success goes beyond the classroom, as I strive to create inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

I created Beyond Measure Education out of a deep love for children and a passion for reading, driven by my firsthand observations as a teacher of the significant literacy gaps that disproportionately affect children of color and unique learners. Witnessing the lack of adequate resources and support for these children, I felt compelled to act. My belief is that every student is unique and deserves a tailored approach that respects and responds to their individual needs. Beyond Measure is built on the principle that cultivating a student’s potential requires an environment where they can see themselves represented and feel valued. Our mission is to provide that environment and close the literacy gaps by empowering each student through targeted, culturally responsive teaching methods that celebrate and build upon their unique identities and capabilities.
